September 25, 2016 <3

I did a poll on Instagram to see what my next blog post should be about and yall voted to see who I used for my very own wedding! The wedding planning process was fun but also very stressful. If I could go back, and had the money, I would've hired someone to plan it all for me!! I love that you guys are interested in my life and for me to share moments like these with yall, not just of my clients. Get ready for some word vomit and picture overload!! I will leave all my vendors contact information at the bottom of the blog post :)

A little back story...

My husband and I have known each other since we were about 10 years old.

We used to attend the same church, but my husbands family was very fickle about where to call their home church. Frank and I lost touch and reconnected on Myspace when I started high school (yes THOSE Myspace days lol) and when we were both Seniors in high school (and had moved onto Facebook), he decided to attend my church again. We dated for about a year and a half before I got pregnant with our daughter, and then spent 4 years apart after her birth. After lots of crazy things that happened in between (too much to tell and I don't want to go into detail lol), we got back together and were engaged February 2016.

We didn't want a long engagement, and we knew we were always meant to be together. We did get married through the court first in March so we could move in together but didn't have the big celebration with everyone until September of 2016. You could say our testimony is a little crazy... Maybe one of these days I will share my engagement video/pictures with yall as well <3

If we had had a longer engagement I would've planned a lot better! We were actually supposed to get married outside of the barn, but it rained the night before and the day of like crazy!! It was around the same time that Hurricane Irma was going to hit Florida, which is also the reason why we didn't get to take our honeymoon trip to the Florida Keys :( We still haven't gone on our honeymoon, but we are hopeful to go somewhere before the year ends!
