Nancy Anderson Fitness Portraits

Lately I have been working with several small business owners and taking Personal Branding pictures for them and their companies. I just started working with a few trainers, health coaches and fitness models. This is a very different type of photography for me, but I welcomed the challenge with open arms. I truly feel that in my field of work, you never stop learning. Sometimes, you have to step out of your comfort zone and try something new. The good thing about this is, that I get to be as creative as I want!

Nancy reached out to me on Facebook about wanting some pictures taken for her social media platforms of herself training and some day to day lifestyle pictures with her sons. Nancy Anderson (M.S.) is a certified fitness trainer and nutrition specialist and one of the most sought after celebrity Trainers in Orange County CA. She is a Trainer for the Pear Sports fitness app and a Master Trainer at Barry’s Bootcamp. Nancy was named one of the top 10 Trainers to follow by Self Magazine and recently just published her first ebook on her nutritional plan ‘Nancy’s bible diet’. Obviously she is now living in Dallas, but she is still well known in the fitness community.

She has a program called 30 Day Slim Down Challenge. The 30 Day Slim Down is a unique, fat-burning meal plan that lays out your exact breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack and dinner, for 4 full weeks. This plan is designed to reset your body, gut and metabolism, ridding you of any nasty toxins and bloat, burning fat and getting you on track for your best self. You'll receive a meal-by-meal guide of exactly what to eat, when to eat it and how much to eat. This plan also includes quick and easy recipes, plus the tips and tricks to make big changes to your physique in just one month.

There are specifications for men's and women's portions and a customized "cherry picker" menu for you to choose from if you don't like (or simply can't eat) what is scheduled that day on the plan. Unlike other meal plans, you aren't deprived of nutrients, you won't spend hours in the kitchen, and yes, you can eat carbs! This plan is successful because it maximizes your time in your fat burning zone, controlling your insulin and promoting optimal hormones, sleep and adrenal function.

Nancy’s extensive education in health and fitness, combined with her passion for working with people to help them live their best and healthiest lives, continues to take her career to new heights. Most recently, after experiencing pregnancy and motherhood firsthand, Nancy has found a deep passion for working with fellow fit Mom’s who also do-it-all. In addition to being a certified pre- and post-natal trainer, Nancy also created a full pregnancy workout program (for all trimesters) that is featured on the Pear Sports App.

After having 2 kids she looks AH-MAZING! Why wouldn't you want to train like her?! You dont even have to go far to exercise. Do it in the comfort of your own home! Nancy has a Master’s degree in Exercise Science (with a concentration in Nutrition). Her fitness resume includes working with big brands such as Target and Under Armour as their trainer-on-set for fitness shoots and managing and implementing wellness programs at similarly large companies.

Involve your kids in the workout routine. There are so many exercises out there now, where they even use the kid as a weight! Being a stay at home mom myself, I totally understand how difficult it can be to start working out again. You HAVE to make time in your day to sweat a little, even if that means having your kids do it with you! They might actually enjoy themselves ;)

Getting them involved in the kitchen is always a great first step to peaking their interest in eating healthy. Nancy has some great blogs on how to deal with picky eaters, pregnancy safe ab exercises and so much more!

Thank you for reading, I'm sure this won't be the last time you see them on my blog!
